Dutch Blockchain Week 2027 has officially announced its dates, with the ninth edition of the event set to take place in Amsterdam from May 17 to May 23, 2027. The week-long event will once again bring together professionals from blockchain, digital assets, finance, payments, Web3 and emerging technology.
At the center of Dutch Blockchain Week 2027 will be the DBW27 Main Summit, returning to the Johan Cruijff ArenA on May 19 and 20, 2027.
Following the growth of the 2026 edition, organizers aim to expand the event further and strengthen its position as one of Europe’s leading gatherings for blockchain and digital asset professionals.
Dutch Blockchain Week Continues to Expand

Dutch Blockchain Week was first launched in 2019 as a community-focused blockchain initiative in the Netherlands.
Over the years, the event has developed into an international business platform attracting companies, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, regulators and technology professionals.
According to the organizers, Dutch Blockchain Week has grown into one of the top European events focused on blockchain and digital assets.
The 2027 edition will build on this momentum by connecting traditional finance with the rapidly developing digital asset and technology sectors.
Building on the Success of DBW26
The announcement follows a major 2026 edition of Dutch Blockchain Week.
In June 2026, thousands of professionals participated in events across Amsterdam. The program included a two-day Main Summit at the Johan Cruijff ArenA and more than 40 additional events throughout the city.
Participants represented a broad range of industries, including cryptocurrency exchanges, banks, payment providers, investment funds, market makers, regulators, infrastructure companies and technology businesses.
The Main Summit also featured representatives and speakers from major organizations such as Visa, Kraken, Bitwise, Mastercard and Chainlink, alongside European policymakers and industry leaders.
For DBW27, organizers plan to continue expanding the event’s scope while maintaining its focus on practical business opportunities and industry collaboration.
DBW27 Main Summit Returns to Johan Cruijff ArenA
The Johan Cruijff ArenA will once again become the main meeting point for Dutch Blockchain Week on May 19 and 20, 2027.
The DBW27 Main Summit will feature two official stages.
The Main Stage will host major industry discussions, keynote speeches, interviews and panel sessions involving executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers and other industry leaders.
Meanwhile, the Amsterdam Stage will focus on more specialized presentations covering specific technologies, markets, regulatory developments and real-world blockchain applications.
Networking and business development will also remain central to the summit.
Participants will have opportunities to meet potential partners, investors, customers and other professionals across the blockchain, digital asset and financial technology industries.
A Full Week of Blockchain Events in Amsterdam
Dutch Blockchain Week is designed to extend far beyond the two-day Main Summit.
From May 17 to May 23, companies, communities and industry partners will organize events across Amsterdam.
These activities are expected to include professional networking sessions, industry discussions, private dinners, community meetups and other gatherings.
The week-long structure gives attendees more time to establish meaningful connections rather than limiting networking opportunities to traditional conference hours.
The official DBW27 event calendar will continue to grow as the event approaches, with companies and communities able to submit their own events to become part of Dutch Blockchain Week.
Key Topics at Dutch Blockchain Week 2027
DBW27 will cover some of the most important developments shaping blockchain, digital finance and emerging technology.
Key topics are expected to include digital assets, stablecoins, payments, tokenization, institutional adoption, blockchain infrastructure, regulation, custody, artificial intelligence and financial technology.
Traditional blockchain and Web3 communities will also remain an important part of the wider Dutch Blockchain Week ecosystem.
The combination of institutional finance, emerging technology and Web3 is expected to make DBW27 relevant to both established companies and newer businesses operating within the digital economy.
